TheDaak Review: Journal of Politics, Society and Culture

The contemporary moment is experiencing profound transformative currents. Both confrontation and collaboration (depending upon how one sees it) with technology and politics is creating a poly species crisis. This has resulted in the Social finding itself changing in ways that require new methods and pedagogical lenses to make sense of the ever evolving world we are now inheriting. TheDaak review as an open access journal is trying to reinvent and rethink through  the already existing canons of academic thought. It is a journal committed to giving space to new research that helps understand this transformation and also throws new light on hitherto unseen aspects of scholarship. 

TheDaak was conceived as an idea by early career researchers for academic collaboration and deliberations. In 2023, it tried reinventing the category of the book review and published seven Issues carrying book reviews across themes. From 2024, it has grown into TheDaak Review, a double blind peer review academic journal that publishes original research across disciplines. TheDaak Review is an open access journal that is published twice a year. 

TheDaak review is open to original research that focuses on different contours of Politics and Society.
