Bilal Khan is a Research Scholar specialising in Film Studies and Psychoanalysis, with a postgraduate degree in Literary and Cultural Studies from the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. My academic work engages with Marxist critical theory, psychoanalytic frameworks, and cinematic discourse, with a particular focus on the intersections of ideology, desire, and visual culture. Drawing on the works of Slavoj Žižek and Jacques Lacan, I attempt to explore the psychopolitics of the cinematic frame, the unconscious mechanisms of spectatorship, and the ideological dimensions of narrative form.
