Dr Chetna Trivedi has recently completed her PhD from Centre for Political Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her areas of interest include History of Governance and Autonomy in Higher Education, Politics of Higher Education, Neoliberalism, intellectual history, Contemporary Issues in Political Theory and Concerns of Social Justice. She has presented various papers at National and International conferences and has contributed chapters in edited volumes and Scopus-Indexed journals. She has previously served as a Project Consultant at National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration, New Delhi. The author has received Global University Programme Scholarship from PEACEBOAT, an International Organisation with a special status at United Nations. Her PhD research was aimed at analysing the interface of Indian universities with Neoliberalism with special reference to Issues of Autonomy and Accountability. She is fond of reading and sports.
