Shaoni Chakraborty has completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English literature from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Her passion for literature transcends languages and boundaries, and she is currently a research scholar in the field of memory studies, focused on the genre of Bengali Heritage. An ardent admirer of regional history and writings, she takes up obscure and underrated gems from Bengali literature and brings them to the fore with her work. Shaoni looks forward to translating works from Bengali to English in the near future. Shaoni has previously participated in national and international level conferences and is a published author in academic as well as creative journals.
